![]() ![]() * This guide has been an incremental work for a lenthy period of time. So the most up to date info is in this guide. You can always check my old playthrough as Tressa in another playlist but there are still some nice improvements in this guide that were added up after this run. My youtube channel is "Marcv1285" and every video featured in this guide will be under a playlist named: "Octopath, Lone Traveler videos ". For a reason I don't understand when I clicked on my own video in steam it sometimes creates an error and I don't know why. If you have any problem seeing the videos linked in this guide you can always check them on Youtube. I'll explain to you how this was made possible and you'll see all 4 boss battles. So if you'd like to see what it looks like to beat Esmerada (Tressa's chapter 4 boss) at level 12, then check up the last section of this guide. It is definitly possible to skip some grinding in the guide to make it even faster and still be able to complete the achievement but here I'm giving you a path that will give you a descent level, abilities and gear to make your experience the easiest possible.Īlso, since I did a Low Level solo playthrough, I decided to include some of its content for your entertainment. If you follow the guide carefully it's even possible to earn your Fleetfoot achievement (complete your journey in under 8 hours) while doing it as the guide have between 5-7 hours of gameplay content to finish it, but speedrunning is not the focus of the guide. This guide holds detailed info to progress with any of the 8 characters as I did the challenge with everyone in parallel. So this sounds challenging but it's not that hard when you know how to abuse the mechanics of the game and you have the right strategy. Head out to Western Wellspring Sands when ready. The Lone Traveler is a fun challenge to do, you'll have to complete the game solo, that means you'll chose your character at the beginning and you're not allowed to recruit anyone else until you complete the 4 acts of you main character. A couple of the NPCs in the house he's guarding have hidden item locations to provide, and some interesting items to Purchase / Steal.Īfter talking to some NPCs around town, you'll be tasked with meeting up with Bale to fight some Lizardmen. He has around 33k HP, so it's not an insurmountable battle. If you get blinded, simply use Rehabilitate. Come into the battle with plenty of Healing Grapes (M) and Inspiriting Plums (M), and just use Thousand Spears to break him and fully charged Brand's Thunder to deal the bulk of the damage. ![]() ![]() You should also be able to Challenge and defeat the guard in front of the house on the north side of the oasis (the house just west of the tavern), particularly if you have apothecary Olberic. Side note: observant players using a checklist may notice that we still have one more hidden item here, but it will have to wait until WAY after the Chapter 4s are done. ![]() You won't be able to get this after completing Olberic's Chapter 4 (which gives you a pretty big window of opportunity), but it's still missable so grab it now! Once you begin Olberic's Chapter 3, you can Inquire / Scrutinize Bale, who is in the guardhouse on the west end of town, for a hidden item. ![]()
